O'Keefe Electronics Inc. specializes in wireless RF technology using the Nordic Semiconductor nRF24L01+ 2.4Ghz transceiver.  The nRF24L01+ is a low cost single chip radio transceiver for the worldwide 2.4 - 2.5Ghz ISM band.   The transceiver contains a frequency synthesizer, crystal oscillator, power amplifier, demodulator and modulator, and an Enhance ShockBurstTM protocol engine.  Built in Power Down and Standby modes make the nRF24L01+ an ideal solution for low power battery applications and other wireless PC peripherals. With low power consumption and additional power savings management features, a coin cell battery operated application can last for several years.

Output power, frequency channels, and protocol setup are easily programmable through a SPI interface.  The nRF24L01+ can interface over SPI with a wide variety of microcontrollers.  Development tools are readily available for the following platforms:  PIC18, PIC24, C8051, LPC-P2148.
